17th Dinner Club: Asian Fusion Menu & Recipes

Friday night M2 got her first chance to host the cooking club and she did a beautiful job! Our theme for the night was Asian Fusion. As we’ve seen with other menus some ingredients seem to keep popping up throughout the offerings – more on that in the summary! Here’s what everyone contributed:
- Appetizer: Crab Lemongrass Tartlets
- Cocktail: Cucumber, Ginger and Sake Sangria
- Salad: Arugula Salad with Lemongrass Vinaigrette and Goat Cheese
- Main: Grilled Halibut wit Cilantro-Lime Butter from "Pacific Northwest Palate: Four Seasons of Great Cooking"
- Side: Crazy Coconut Noodle Toss from "Chopstix"
- Dessert: East-West Ginger Cake with Cardamon Cream

Ohhh… Poor planning on my part! :-) M2 would NOT be happy to hear that her little (that\’s a figurative term – this is one big cat!) Dylan might be considered part of our recipes. However, he was a great accompaniment as he hung out with us all night…. ~ B
